Scholarships are processed - worldwide - for the children or dependents of Abbott employees according to various cycles or timelines. It is very important to submit your application prior to the deadline for your area. For students in the U.S. and Puerto Rico to be considered eligible, the online application must be completed by March 15, 2008. 

Required documentation to complete your application must be sent to Scholarship America for processing and must be postmarked by March 15, 2008.  Late information will not be accepted and will render the online application incomplete.  The following documents must be sent to Scholarship America to complete your application: 

• The first two pages of the most recently completed IRS Form 1040 (first three pages for residents of Puerto Rico)
• The student's most recent transcript of grades (grade reports will not be accepted)

Late applications (received after the deadline) and incomplete applications will not be processed.

Scholarship award notifications will be conducted by the end of June 2008.
