Clara Abbott Foundation scholarship applications will be available online beginning January 4, 2010. The application deadline is March 15, 2010.


The Clara Abbott Scholarship Program can help bring a college-level education to the children or dependents of Abbott employees and retirees by providing scholarships for tuition and fees. Scholarships are awarded for full- and part-time study at these accredited post-secondary institutions for students obtaining their first undergraduate degree:

• Colleges or universities
• Community colleges
• Vocational schools
• Trade schools
• Scholarships are awarded solely based on need
