Need-based financial grants
Family crisis, natural disasters, medical bills, special-needs children, divorce, etc. can leave a person with unexpected, unplanned expenses that make it hard to make ends meet. The Clara Abbott Foundation can help by providing need-based financial grants to help eligible Abbott families get back on the road to financial independence.
Free financial consulting
Our consultants in Temecula, Santa Clara and Dorado can speak with you personally to review your income and expenses, understand your financial situation and help you get on the road to financial freedom. They will also provide you with tools to help you meet your financial goals, such as debt-assessment guides and budget methods. Contact information for your financial consultant is as follows:

Need-based scholarships
The Clara Abbott Foundation can help bring a university-level education to the eligible children or dependents of Abbott employees and retirees by providing need-based scholarships for tuition, fees, books and supplies. Information on scholarships for the 2008/2009 school year will be available in January 2008.
Financial education
The Foundation offers a variety of financial education classes – such as effective cash management, goal setting, and identity theft protection. Classes will be available at Abbott Vascular locations later this year. Dates, times and locations will be shared with you as they become available.
