Application Process

If you find yourself experiencing severe financial hardship and are unable to meet basic living needs such as food, utilities or rent, we may be able to help by providing you with a grant. Here’s how the process works:

Check the eligibility section to see if you qualify for an award. Then, complete a Financial Assistance application. If you need help completing the application or have questions, please call The Foundation toll free at (800) 972-3859.

Meet with a financial consultant to review your application and financial situation, and then develop a financial action plan together.

The Foundation will conduct a thorough, careful review of your request and notify you of your application status. Before awarding assistance, we will look at many options, including personal resources, government and community agencies, family and friends, etc., to help us determine what type of assistance you may be able to receive. Recommendations may include a grant, referral to outside resources or agencies, and/or budget help.
