Application Process

If you find yourself experiencing severe financial hardship and are unable to meet basic living needs such as food, utilities or rent, we may be able to help by providing you with a grant. You can work with your Human Resources representative or directly with The Clara Abbott Foundation. The choice is yours. Either way, the information you provide is confidential. Here’s how the process works:

Step 1

Contact your local Human Resources representative or The Clara Abbott Foundation* to receive a Financial Assistance application. Applications are also available on this Web site.

Step 2

Complete the application in English. If you need assistance with translation or have a question on the application, please see your Human Resources representative or contact The Clara Abbott Foundation who will work with a translator on your behalf.
Step 3

Sign, date and submit the application (and supporting documents) to Human Resources. They will maintain a copy of the application to facilitate follow-up questions. All information is confidential.

Step 4

The Foundation will conduct a thorough, careful review of your request and notify Human Resources of your application status.

Step 5

Human Resources will contact you with The Foundation’s decision within 3-4 weeks of receiving all the necessary documentation.
